SPAM WARNING
We're sure you've noticed the spam that's getting around the site. If you haven't, here's the scoop. Spammers have been using users' accounts to send out all sorts of ads. They're the ones that say something like "You won an IPod" or "See who has a crush on you".

Want to get rid of them as much as we do? You can help. In your preferences, change your password. Change it to something secure, with both numbers and letters. If you have a current password like: password, 123456, or your user name, you're more likely to have it stolen. If you get one of these comments, just delete it. The account owner probably didn't know their account was being used, so tell them to change their password. If we all make spamming harder to do, there's a chance they'll give it up. Thanks for your help guys!

If there were no laws, would humans be good, or evil at thier core?

I have been pondering this question now for days and it has me leading in serveral ways.

I believe that if all laws were not set, there was no higher power and no social organizations, that us, humans, would be good nor evil.
See in my eyes, I think basic human instinct would kick in, like ani...
Exchanges
Home > News > World

Recently I have moved to Germany for a year on exchange. I’m having a great time here, the people are friendly, it’s beautiful, and best of all I feel at home. I’ve met other exchange students just as excited as me. Some more home sick, others not missing a thing. We are all here for the same reason: to become part of a new culture. Not just to travel or to meet new people. We are here to imm...

Labels, Groups, Trends, whatever you call them, they're lame.
Home > General > Rant

Nowadays people are constantly labeling our society with lame names,
some of which you may know as, emo, goth, punk, indie, hipsters, gangsters.
And lately, I've been noticing that, more and more people are using these labels.
My mom for instance, the other day we are driving and she see's a person
wearing black jeans and makeup.
And I was so surprised to hear ...
Relations..A story by Bronson

I really had nothing to discuss, so I just thought I would submit one of my stories. Hope you all enjoy.

I offer a sense of security as I hold her. “Be peaceful,” I whisper in my heart, “feel my everlasting love and do not be fearful of me. I give everything to you without restrictions.” I shake my head and cry a little each time I ponder about the ...

Advice For Users of Online Communities
+ Anyone can be anything on the internet! Just because someone says they are a cute 15 year old boy does not mean that they are in fact - cute - 15 - or a boy.

+ Don’t ever post personal information on your profile or in areas visible to the general public. Profiles are publicly visible so do not post your phone number, address, or anything else that may lead someone to you. Comments are also visible to the public and are not the place to share any personal information.

+ Don’t record yourself in a compromising fashion. Be cautious exposing your private life online. Remember -- videos and photos posted on the internet are broadcast across the world and cannot be removed. So be careful with your webcams!
+ If you're uncomfortable with the way a conversation is progressing, JUST GET OUT! Don’t worry about offending anyone. Utilize the "Ignore User" feature as well as the "Report Abuse" buttons. If necessary, report the matter to your local police or www.cybertip.ca.

+ Take precautions when meeting people you have met online -- DON’T GO ALONE! Take someone with you, preferably an adult, and plan to meet in an open and public place. Be sure to take a cell phone.

+ If at anytime you need someone to talk to, contact Kids Help Phone. Kids Help Phone is toll-free and totally anonymous. Teens contact Kids Help Phone about issues including all variety of physical, emotional, and cyber abuse; drugs and suicide. To get counseling, call 1-800-668-6868 or go online at www.kidshelpphone.ca.
